Rug help- please, I’m begging

I’m about to return my 3rd unsuitable living room rug so I’m coming to you, the professionals to help me.

Sage green walls, light grey sofa, oak flooring. Does anybody have a similar colour scheme and has found THE rug? If so can you please give me some links.

Budget of up to £400/500

I've always bought my rugs from La Redoute. Mine are never matchy matchy but a sort of subtle, faded Jute material. Think there's 40% off currently. My advise is not to match up with what is in the room but to have another colour to enhance the furniture. My walls and woodwork are dark green, sofas are orange velvet, old and tatty wooden waxed floor. My rugs are sort of pinky beigy orangy

it’s machine washable too which is handy…

The trick is to paint walls last. Think about it, it's easier to find a rug you like and THEN, pick up a colour of the rug for your wall.
There are hundreds of paint colours that you can match with your chosen rug.
Make sure your rug is as big as you can, should at least go under the front legs of your sofas.
