So we’ve just recently moved and due to budget we decided to not replace furniture and brought our reclining couch with us. The only problem is that we are in an open plan house and the couch now sits in the middle of the room with no power to it. Previously we had it against a wall so had no issues. I could get cable covers but we have grey laminate flooring and I feel it’ll look unsightly, any ideas what else I can do?

Get an electrician to put in a floor plug socket in like they have in offices would be the easiest solution.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an option as we’ve just had the flooring done and we’d have to rip up the laminate and pay for it to be done again. I wish we had thought about it before.

Ours runs off a rechargeable power pack. It's a decent size battery that lasts about a month with occasional reclining

What battery pack is it? Do you have a link or a name please? That sounds idea
