Removal of Gluedown LVT

Hello all,

Looking for some advice please. Our property currently has gluedown Karndean LVT in the north part of the house, and being a grey colour is incredibly depressing. Looking to change it to either tiles or a lighter colour of flooring, but unsure how to remove the Karndean. Tried using an heat gun but took days to remove the 1.5x1.5m area in the utility! Any advice please?
