Rangemaster Worktop Gap...

Hello everyone,

This is my first post in forever and when I googled "Rangemaster Elise forum" this came up, so I thought I'd ask the best people out there for some advice!!

We've recently had a brand new kitchen fitted, absolutely love it, it's out forever home and we've bought the Rangemaster Elise. The kitchen was planned around this and templated to fit however.... The Elise has gone in and I'm a little bit stumbled... There is a gap between the worktop and the Rangemaster!

I absolutely love our kitchen, but I keep focusing on this!!

When I've looked at all the installation info, they've done exactly what it says to do by the book... So I can't complain, however there is a gap which is 1cm at each side and I just KNOW I will get food down there, especially good old peas and sweetcorn!! When I've looked online, all of the worktops are almost flush, and I need some sensible advice and if anyone uses anything to fill the gap that isn't a plastic thing that will make it look naff, I'd be grateful of any top tips!

Thanks so so much!!

I've spoken to our worktop fitters and they're coming on Monday to try and adjust them slightly... Which is amazing considering they're fully fitted... I'll let you know how we get on!

Thought I'd update anyone interested....

The worktop fitters have been today and it's perfect now! It was no bother for them and km so glad I asked the question!! It would have been something that would have bothered me for years, so it just goes to show, sometimes you just have to ask politely and see!
