Bed delivery

Just had to return a lovely ottoman bed from Dusk because the delivery guys couldn't get the headboard up the stairs. Not sure what to do now! Anyone have any ideas or advice?

Take a look at Oddsized Beds. They were able to quarter a bed for me to get up a narrow staircase

We had to modify a window to get a sofa into the lounge.

Have you asked DUSK, one would have thought they may have had this problem before?

We hauled a wardrobe by a rope through the window. It actually wasn’t that bad. The wardrobe was taken apart but we couldn’t get one of the bits round the corner of our narrow twisty staircase.

We had a big corner sofa delivered that had a similar issue (even though it came in three parts), the sofa bed element of it got stuck. We got an upholsterer in (found him off the Yellow Pages, can send you details if you're in Essex or nearby) and he took the back off, got it upstairs and rebuilt it perfectly.
