Changing induction for gas hob

Had the kitchen done 2 yrs ago. Changed the old gas hob for a new induction which I love. Moved the location of the hob from original location into the extension (concrete floors) and capped off the gas as well as putting in a new circuit for the new hob. BUT…. DH has now been told he needs a pacemaker 😓 and I’m thinking we might have to go back to gas as apparently you have to be 2ft away from an induction hob when you have a pacemaker - his arms aren’t that long! How easy/ costly is it to move the gas supply to the new location? Has anyone done this recently?
it’d be through a concrete floor and moving it about 2ft. also would have to pull out double oven and integrated fridge to get to where the gas supply originally comes into the kitchen.
Am gutted obviously for DH finding out he has a serious heart condition but also at having to pull out my new kitchen (not sure which I’m most upset at 😂)

Sorry that you have had this news. I don't know about moving the gas question but could you use bottled gas. Some properties which are not on mains gas use it. This could be installed anywhere so maybe no.need to mess up the kitchen?

You could also buy a one or two ring plug in induction hob for the use of others. Keep it a drawer unless it's being used.
