Painted kitchen colours

Having dithered on various threads , have taken the plunge and commissioned a company to paint my wooden kitchen units .
It's a large kitchen with creamy travertine floor, a cream Aga and black granite worktops. I know these are dated but I'm not changing them , they can pretty much withstand any kitchen apocalypse and it would cost a fortune.
It's not the lightest room so looking for pale colours, can use any f and b , little green paint etc.
Am tempted for pale pink or pale blue or sage , maybe with the larder in a darker colour
All advice welcome
Is pink mad though ?

What colour are the walls?

Pale pink is amazing.

What colour are the walls?

Walls will be repainted
No tiles either so that's a blank canvas

Pink ground is nice and warm in my hallway - always looks like the sunrise/sunset is shining in. I have it with elephants breath in the bathroom, and that works well. Also have elephants breath in the kitchen, which works with our cream Aga.

You could do, say, elephant’s breath on the units and pink ground on the walls.

How'd it turn out? Have seen light pink cabinets before and they looked pretty 😎
