Wondering if anyone knows/ has put soundproof flooring in their house. We are looking to put Karma Soundlay 15mm in the bedrooms and the hallway upstairs. We have the flooring people coming to fit the soundproof and the carpets next week. All the soundproof floor is in my garage but I had a nightmare last night that it would be too heavy. Each mat is 21kg and 1m x 1.2m. In my nightmare the floor collapsed. Does anyone know if it will be too heavy? The flooring people told me it would be fine as it is distributed evenly but can’t help worrying that with furniture on top it will be a lot of weight!
