Wall colour for these curtains/bedding

I have this bedding which I love and my mum kindly bought me the curtains pictured as a surprise. Probably not what I'd have chosen but I'm grateful for the thought and don't want to offend so am using them.

My walls are new build cream and I'd like to paint them. I guess the obvious choice is a pink but that's not really me. Are there any dark colours that would work or would it look daft?

Pale coffee or beige-ish? DD had those curtains in her bedroom and the walls were cream with a light green carpet.

I wonder if a blue like some of the birds tails would work ... I'm a wuss re using darker colours myself though.

I'd get a mid to deep blue grey.

Blush pink or dove grey

I wouldn't like a dark colour with that pattern - it would be a different feeling.
If it were my bedroom, I would try to match the blue of the background. The pattern is busy (in a good way!), and a matching wall colour would set it off attractively and give the room a pulled-together look.

Those are definitely not curtains I would have chosen myself but I think they look lovely!
