Where would you add a utility room to this floor plan?

Currently considering this house but would need to add a utility room. Have wondered about cutting off part of the kitchen but that would make the family room/kitchen only 2.1m wide which doesn’t seem ideal. Or chopping off the end part of the family room behind the lounge?

any other ideas?

I would knock the wall down between the living room and the family room so that it's one long room. Then I would put a wall in to create a utility room between that room and the kitchen.

Id put to the far end of the family room like this. Or even better if you have room upstairs for it? I never understand why more people dont, I suppose it’s if your able to ensure all washes are done in the daytime.

Could you use family room for dining table and then knock wall through between kitchen and dining room and have that all as kitchen/utility? Or is adding a small extension to the side of the kitchen an option? I’ve seen some in our estate do that.

Ideas:

1: knock through between family room and big living room. Then block off kitchen end to be utility room. You'd still have a separate living space?

  1. Knock down wall into dining and then stea the end of your family room to be utility.
  1. Make room upstairs. Washing machines upstairs are great!

I’ve a large kitchen and no room for a utility room.
I’ve got the tumble dryer in a built in cupboard in a bedroom. I leave the door open when I occasionally use it. It’s a condenser dryer.
If you’ve a garage you could put a utility in there.
It’s not as bad as you think without a utility
