Letter boxes qt floor level are the work of satan

I get really annoyed at letterboxes at the bottom of door, so the post person has to stick their ar@e in the air to get a letter in the box. Anyone else? Are they the work of Satan. Are they a bit saying "Kneel lowly postperson to deliver unto me?"

They do look annoying, and I pity the poor post person, but I doubt it’s that deep tbh.

We bought our door and they put the letter box and the bottom as there is a glass panel in the middle.

We’re getting a new door and I’ve purposely chosen one that works with the letterbox at normal height, it does seem rude to me to have them at the bottom. If it doesn’t work with the door go for a postbox on the wall or something.
