Not the most interesting topic perhaps but I really struggle with decor and want to get better.
We're in a newish build home (bellway rosedale style if it matters or helps decisions) and the time has definitely come to change our flooring in the living/dining room (large open plan with stairs in living room). We currently have a carpet which I love but kids, dogs, time etc have taken their toll and I feel it will realistically need to be some kind of flooring rather than carpet. I've considered herringbone, can anyone recommend a good quality? Definitely not real wood flooring as we're too harsh on it!
Or is there anything I'm missing? The stairs in the living room will still be carpeted (light grey).
Really I need someone to make all the decisions for me!
