What colour curtains to go with this rug

I wanted advice on what curtains eg colour , plain or pattern to go in my lounge with grey soda and striped rug.?advice appreciated .

Any of the colours in the rug would go. I’d pick out the deep red tone to give a bit of warmth and colour to the room. It would contrast nicely with your cushions too.

Yes, l agree, l had very similar rug and had lovely deep red scrolled velvet curtains, Brown leather sofa and cream walls.

Thanks I thought a wine chenille maybe ? Dunelm do some which are like the silver ones I have but I agree would add warmth . Do you think the matching wine cushions would be too much as well ?

last year, and ended up with the attached curtains, which are a massive improvement on the creamy-grey ones we had. Warm colors are definitely the way to go.

I'll be different 😁 I think ochre would go beautifully matching your rug and your cushions. Those cushions look fab with your couches.

Wine chenille would be beautiful. I’d keep the ochre cushions - they would tone nicely and be less ‘matchy matchy’

Love these Ochre checked curtains will they go with the room as walls and sofa plain?? Finally found some I like😀thought they might add warmth to the room and go with my already ochre cushions if I add a couple of the check ones as well . All thoughts appreciated
