Hi! Looking at getting hardwood shutters with blackout blinds for the bedrooms. Any recommendations for the best companies? Thank you 😊

Where abouts are you?

I wouldn't use that blind company with the girls name. They quoted us a price and then immediately halved it when I said they were way off other quotes. I don't like that sort of thing...

The company with the girls name, do you mean Hillarys? We are in Oxfordshire

We had ShutterLab install some standard shutters as well as shutters with blackout blinds. The advice from the surveyor/installer was 2nd to none, and we had quite a few companies round, including the abovementioned company with the girls name. Who sent someone to sell me something, rather than to find out what my requirements were and kept saying that the surveyor would have the answers I needed, after a large quote and then large reduction, we decided against them immediately.

With the light getting in earlier in the mornings, the blackout option was a great for the ours and our daughters' bedrooms.

I hope that helps and good luck with the journey, it can be quite a drawn out one if not sure where to start.
