Anyone with a painted ceiling?

Not painted white I mean… anyone have any photos to inspire or regrets to dissuade me?

I do. And no regrets at all. I think my friends and family think it odd and probably pretentious but they’re not impolite enough to say so. It’s what I wanted and I love it. My ceiling has clouds and cherubs.

I have a black ceiling and pink for another, but in bathrooms only. The thought of painting five or six coats over a large ceiling puts me off doing a larger room. I’ve painted cream ceilings white and notice the lighter colour lifts the room, darker colours lowers the ceiling which is ok if you have tall ceilings (but even harder to paint if you want to go back to white).

The non-tiled part of my bathroom. and the ceiling, is blush pink. It looks great.

Be prepared for a lot of hmm not sure, feels a bit dark - then the second coat went on and everyone liked it. It's only paint though, worth taking chance.
