Don't really know how to describe this. We've got a big wall in the kitchen that I'd like to put some mural wall paper on. Does it need to go on the whole wall? The bit of wall is between floor to almost ceiling windows that have a strip painted across the top and a doorway. I'd like to just do the 3 metre stip between windows and door - but do I really need to do the whole 6 metre strip?

Not sure that makes sense...or even what to google to see images....

Yep, they're murals. Loads on Wallpaper Direct (which is where I got mind from) but most places that do wallpaper will do murals too.

No depending on which mural you pick you don't need to use the entirety of it, just as much as you want. You will want to choose your pieces carefully to get the focal point from the mural that you like.

I would suggest framing the mural so it walls in line with windows top and bottom with a small gap left and right side. Does that make sense?
