Help me find new bedside tables please!

So photo of what I have currently - the one on husbands side is broken on the top plus they’re a nightmare to dust! But I can’t find anything that’s right - don’t want a cabinet as prefer to keep the space ‘open’. Other furniture in room is a lightish oak. Any ideas?

You are so lucky you don’t need the storage, there are so many pretty bedside tables available! I love Oliver Bonas/ Graham & Green/ Anthropologie for this kind of thing. I’d prob not try to match the light oak and would go for something unusual, or if you want to play safe you could go with black to match your headboard, white, or something you could paint the same colour as your walls (beautiful colour btw!)

Thank you. Love the graham&green one! And the dunelm one might work but in charcoal. The bed frame is a sort of pewter colour so think either would look good.

I like that but think I’d have trouble convincing my DH! The pink cushions are enough for him 😂

I'd think about a shelf if you don't need storage?

I don't have any suggestions but just wanted to ask what the wall colour is? It's gorgeous!

It’s an option but tricky because of where cables run for the wall lights. I need to look at it again.

Thank you I absolutely love it! It’s a really old one we’ve used in a few places around our house. It was by Crown called ‘Bespoke’. In fact I think that one in the bedroom we had to get colour matched at Brewers - code Bespoke, C0291S

Couldn’t you just get glass surfaces made for your existing bedsides? You can get coloured glass, or mirrored/antique mirrored etc.

You say you want to keep the space open, so my post is pontless, but I must say that replacing my little bedside tables with ones that are thin but fill the space between the bed and the wall on either saide make the area look so much nicer, somehow it looks more intentional. It's also perfect for a breakfast tray or tea and coffee in the morning.

I really like them, there’s a cherry one too. I keep going back to them but can’t decide,mostly because I’ve got a big burr walnut chest of drawers in my room and can’t decide what would go with it best.

Try Vinterior.

I have the Jysk ones in the guest room. I'm so envious of those who can survive with just a top and a lower shelf. I have two antiquey type solid wood lockers each with three drawers on either side of the bed, and they are 50 cm wide. Each drawer is full of CRAP.

I tried swopping the Jysk ones into my room, but before too long there was too much stuff on the floor. I don't know how I accumulate so many books, tissue boxes, chargers, paracetemol, eye drops, cables, spare bulb for the lamp OMG I am a disaster. But the room is very tidy lol.

I like the dunelm Albourne. Heck I like them all, but they are so impractical for ME.
