I’m about to finally get around to replacing the carpet on my stairs, landing and upstairs bedrooms which the previous owners put in. I don’t want brown because that’s what we have now and I hate it. We’re going for a short twist pile. We have grey tiles on the downstairs which need to blend in so I’m gong to have to go for cooler neutral aren’t I? The walls are Dulux Rock Salt, so white with a hint of grey. We have lots of colours downstairs in accessories and furnishings, mainly blues and mustards and I’d like it to blend in with downstairs.
Photo of stairs and also of a carpet we choose in the carpet shop at the weekend. It’s by Victoria Carpets and called bath time but it looks very grey in the photo when in the shop it was bluey grey and it’s under blue on the manufacturer’s website. I’m worried it will look too cold. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏
