I’ve just painted the hallway and stairs nutmeg white. I now need to paint the living room and the colour that goes best is… nutmeg white.
I don’t want my whole house to be the same colour, especially as it is fairly neutral. Any ideas for a colour that is like nutmeg white but a little darker? Dulux suggests dusted cappuccino as a combination but I think that’s a bit dark and also too close to the sofa colours.
Or something with warm tones that would go well when you look from the nutmeg white hall.
Small north facing living room. I don’t think I can have a feature wall as it would need to be on the wall that faces you as you walk in, and that’s the long side of quite a thin room, so it would make the room feel even more narrow.
