Pleated blinds on roof lights, work well or not?

What are these like in reality please? Do bugs get in the honeycomb section?
I’ve had Hilary’s and Thomas Sanderson quote for pleated blinds for my rooflights. A local firm also quoted but he’s over twice the price and commented that bugs get stuck in the pleated ones. So I’m just wondering if this is true and you get them out. Thanks!

Is it the cellular blinds? I have these in downstairs cloakroom, they make a big difference to heat gain/loss. Mine were from Blinds-2-go, so not high end.
Ive no idea why spiders etc dont bother wandering into the cells, nor do I kow how you'd clean them if they did....So far so good, but no idea why.

@Saz12 are yours on a regular window or a roof light? I’ve got them on regular windows with no problems but want to put blinds on my roof lights (ceiling windows) on summer we do get a few flies and wasps flying up there and the sales people did mention bugs and to use compressed air sprays. So I’m just wondering if this is an issue and if the compressed air actually works.

I have duo-blinds on Velux windows which have a pleated section to stop solar glare and then the blind itself for blackout.
Yes, little flies get trapped behind it, and you cannot get a vacuum or duster behind to remove them.
Velux's suggestion was to take the blind off to clean it.
I will try your air compressor suggestion. I think that would work.
Mine are at an accessible height.

@JamMakingWannaBe Do they get behind the blind as a whole or just within the pleated bit?

I will take a photo for you tomorrow. Like PP we have cellular blinds on vertical downstairs (ours are perfect fit) and the bugs don't go in / behind them. They do get behind the Velux pleated blind though.
