Is this exactly the same table with hugely different prices?

I have seen this dining table on 4 different sites now, same images with wildly different prices. Does anyone know if it’s likely to be exactly the same table, quality etc across all? 2 are stores local to me, the cheaper options Next and Furniture123. It just seems a bit mad that there could be almost £800 between the cheapest and most expensive?!

They definitely look like the same table, in fact the same setting/photo with the same flowers.

It is possible that the cheaper store needs to get stock moving so they have priced it lower.

Do a google image search - you'll probably find it somewhere even cheaper!

It could well be. I’ve found the same when searching for a dining table in the past. Same table in different shops, including bigger retailer and smaller independents, exactly the same but with different names and different prices.

As long as that's a legit website (I've never bought anything from there) then yes it would be the exact same table. I used to work at a furniture retailer and we sold that table set around 7 years ago. It could well be old stock they are selling close to cost price to clear.

I'd be very careful with the websites. Some look dubious.

I've found identical items on different websites for wildly differing prices before. Different names but same photos. Sometimes hundreds of pounds difference or a 100% difference. I've bought the cheaper ones and they have been legit. Some places just REALLY mark up their prices.

So it does happen. Check out the cheaper websites/companies thoroughly, though. Look at reviews on Google and Trustpilot. See if their delivery times are good and how good they are at resolving problems (e.g. if item arrives broken). Do the reviews look genuine? Because I have also seen other items on sale suspiciously cheaply on other websites, and when you read the reviews it's clearly a scam. So do your research (I'm sure you would anyway!).
