Lightish blue or green for dark hallway

We need to paint our hallway and have a dado rail, so would like some colour on the bottom partly for interest but also to try and hide some of the inevitable marks you get with a busy household.

Can anyone recommend a nice shade of blue or green that won't look too dingy in a dark hallway, and works against a bright white woodwork. We had set on F&B Cromarty But it looks really dreary now we've put some up so back to the drawing board

B&Q Good Home Clontarf. I've just got my hallway done in it and it's so cheerful. It's quite a soft green too. It looks great against the white woodwork. And it doesn't smell nearly as bad as other brands when it's wet

Thanks for the suggestion it is a lovely colour but a bit more minty than I was after unfortunately.

We have Salix by Little Greene - I love it.

F&B Borrowed Light? If it's a dark space embrace that with a dark colour below the dado rail and use a lighter one above. It will feel cosier and more welcoming rather than dingy, which is the risk with something lighter when there isn't much natural light.

Thanks both back to the paint shop for more samples and yes agree about all white looking dingy that's what we have now decided to give some colour a try with darker shade on the bottom
