We are moving to a bigger house and I’m quite overwhelmed by the size and how to present each room well. I have a rough idea of colours but I’m terrible when it comes to matching.
So far I’d like a beige/cream hallway, a white and grey (I know it’s hated on here but I like it) living room, sage green dining room, yellow conservatory, navy blue bedroom for us, pink bedroom for daughter (her choice), blue bedroom for son, mint green bedroom for son.
So now I have to think of colours for the toilets, bathroom and kitchen. I’m completely stuck. I don’t want to reuse the same colours throughout the house.
The kitchen is attached to the dining room so would keeping a sage green theme be best? I originally thought of a pale peach or white but with painted cupboards, any thoughts?
Then a turquoise or duck egg blue bathroom, but again the majority of the rooms will be blueish and I don’t want to overdo it.
All rooms are very light and airy, the only dark room is the living room hence the light and natural colours and sons room which will be mint.
