Alternative to Little Greene slaked lime

I want a neutral colour and have painted walls in little Greene slaked lime. Tried to find a cheaper match as the e-paint website said The johnstones cotton tail was virtually indistinguishable. I however found that when it dries it is almost white and not as dark as slaked lime. The dulux match is also a little more grey and darker. Has anyone found a more accurate match?
Thanks

Do you live near a Brewers? I've found them really helpful where I am. They can help with colour matching. Also, if you haven't used them before, they'll sign you up for a loyalty account that comes with vouchers for 20% off your first two purchases.

It's not what you want to hear but I've used a few brands in my house lately and haven't found anything that goes on as well as Little Greene's intelligent matte.

I used a Dulux colour match for slaked lime mid and found it pretty good. Dulux actually try to match the colour whereas Johnstones pick the nearest to their own shades.

As above though, Brewers are very helpful.

Thanks, maybe I'll go with the LG, I don't seem to have found anything that matches colourwise from Dulux or anywhere else. It's just I'm doing the whole house so its a bit more expensive.

Thanks, but I did try Dulux to do a match but it wasn't anywhere close.
Thanks for the tip on Brewers.

We did a colour match from brewers for one room and LG for the other. It didn't go on as nicely but colour looks the same to me.

Which slaked lime are you going for? I like 105 and will probably get it colour matched at Brewers.

What does Slaked Lime look like on a wall? Is it really white with a touch of green? Like the old Dulux Apple White.

I ordered a tester and it’s definitely a true white, in my east facing room.

I just googled the dulux you mentioned and slaked lime is not like that.

Slaked lime is a cool white. Lime as in the mineral 🪨, not the fruit 🍋.

My sitting room and kitchen are LG Slaked Lime. It's expensive but I find with LG and FB paints that when you need to touch up, it still looks the same colour. With cheaper paint in the past, I've found the colour on the wall has faded or gone off-tone so touch ups show up.

If you want to colour match, the best option is to take a sample of the actual paint colour (not a printed one) to the Valspar counter in B&Q and they'll scan it and match it.

Ah, thanks @LuckyCharm9 and @PickAChew

This is it on a patch of wall in my house after one coat. The right hand side is the patch that has the more natural light on it.

On my wall currently is dulux mellow mocha which is quite darker in my room. This has covered it nicely after one coat.
