About the small things that have made me really happy today?

I nipped to Sainsburys, without the toddler or husband and didn't feel harassed as I walked through. I picked up a super cute succulent plant to go in one of the bathroom shelves, and I also got the vase photo attached. Our en suite has been driving me batty since we purchased the house but we don't have the budget to do it up yet, so I'm making small changes where I can. So far, the windowsill vase, the shelf succulent, a posh reed diffuser on the back of the loo and a nice new bath mat has made me smile more than it probably should have.

I also cleaned the sofa cushions and picked up a new mattress topper today so I've got lovely clean sheets to get into tonight. I've congratulated myself with an equally lovely glass of gin!

That's pretty! Sometimes it really is the small and simple things that make the biggest difference.

I've got a couple of daffodils in the front garden. Spring is on the way.

A bit of greenery or flowers make a world of difference in a bathroom

It sounds lovely! I usually go shopping with my DH but every once in a while it's nice to just wander around slowly and see what I can find.

I planted 60 bulbs outside the front of our living room and they're starting to pop up. The funny part is that I've forgotten what they all were. I know there are some sort of narcissus and alliums but it's going to be a bit of a surprise.
