No worktops under windows. No radiators under windows. Floor or sill length?
Thanks

Sill. Though you're not going to be drawing them much with those lovely plants there so maybe blinds?

Mosaic123 · 09/02/2024 13:04

Blind fitted outside the niche so the plants are covered at night.

bonnysmum · 09/02/2024 14:29

There already are automated roller blinds in the niches. Plants can be rearranged :-)

I'd go with floor length, bit something light and floaty, just to pretty up the window, which is quite sharp in a pretty room

Floor length curtains in a kitchen can be quite dangerous ( trip hazard).

Belindabelle · 09/02/2024 21:15

Nothing, I wouldn’t want to block that view or cut down on the light.

GrumpyMiddleAgedCow · 09/02/2024 21:20

I wouldn’t do curtains but maybe a wood valance over the blinds painted the colour of your cabinets? X

fluffiphlox · 09/02/2024 21:21

None, in my opinion.

I'd have curtains at the dinibg room end and roman blinds at the kitchen end, both in the same fabric. Or nothing because you've already got roller blinds and I always worry about kitchen smells and grease sticking to the curtains. So if you do decide you want curtains at the dining end just get light linen ones that are easy to wash.

5cm below sill.

TreesWelliesKnees · 10/02/2024 08:31

None - stick with your roller blinds. Or roman blinds.

Nice kitchen!

Janetime · 10/02/2024 08:36

Blinds in a kitchen always. Not curtains.

JollyMollyPolly · 10/02/2024 11:01

I don't think curtains would look right that close to the kitchen units, Roman blinds would be more appropriate.

rockstarshoes · 10/02/2024 18:38

I don't think I'd have any either!

I love your kitchen!
