Pic attached from house viewing.

This is the 3rd bedroom and DD3 room, it's now got a mid grey carpet and all white walls/ceiling it's got a toddler bed width wise under the window. It's a long but very narrow room and I feel like it needs either some colour or something on the walls to make it feel wider & warmer.

Any tips or advice on colours or how to decorate this?

I'd make sure the window wall has a different paint or wallpaper as it will draw the eye and stop it seeming bowling alley-ish. I would also get a round rug.

That's a good idea actually, do you think the whole window wall being a different colour and then a small blind recessed into the window is best?

A round rug is a good idea too thank you

Could you do something like these so your DD still has as much floor space as possible?

Not sure on the style of the rest of the house, but some panelling half way would make the room look wider.

Also you can go dark with colours, look at lick paints, some of the greens are lovely, go for light wood floors and plank across the room.

Round rug, round mirrors etc all help too

In a small room, a high bed will make it feel much smaller. You want a low bed with minimal headboard etc which can act as a sofa in the daytime.

Paint walls in 2 colours with a slightly darker shade to waist height and a paler shade of the same above.
