What colour/style of tile for my kitchen?

Probably not the best photo but the only one I have to hand.

I'd like a tile that complements the work tops and cupboards. Kitchen is north facing so can be quite dark.

The cabinets are nude high gloss. I have no clue what will look good.

Help much appreciated!!

Are you looking for a tile for floor or splashback? (floor looks nice as is!)

Wall tiles!

Originally I was thinking of changing the worktops to white quartz and the having the same for splash back but it's very expensive and I don't think this is our forever home.

So thinking of tiling but have no idea what would work with the colours we already have.

Quartz would be lovely but yy very expensive especially if you take it up the wall too!

I think I would go for some sort of off white gloss tile to bounce light around, maybe with a bit of surface texture like a zellige tile. this sort of thing.

Or the same but in rectangular shape

If you want colour colour then a green would work well - sage green
