Can you connect kallax units?

Has anyone ever easily connected kallax units together? I need a 3 x 2, I'm going to get the

2 x 2 and a 1 x 2

I have asked customer services in ikea and they said that they don't supply connectors, but they stated it is possible.

Has anyone done this before?

You could just stick it together with no more nails, that stuff sticks anything

You can but they look weird because you get a double thickness part where the two are connected. The outside pieces are almost hollow o you need to use bolts rather than screws.

If you want a 3x2 you could buy a 3x4 and a 1x2 and put the bits you want together, that way you’d end up with a 3x2 and a 1x4. You could then sell the 1x4 on FB marketplace to recoup some of the cost?

They look ridiculous because of the thick ends
