Husband's empty alcohol bottles

My husband has empty alcohol bottles he doesn't want to get rid of as he likes how they look. They're square mead bottles, roughly the same shape as Jack Daniels but sharper angles.

I don't want to try and make him get rid of them as he likes them, but does anyone have any suggestions on how to make them look better that doesn't involve glitter?

We’re in the middle of building a garden bar, I’ve been saving nice-looking bottles and putting fairylight corks in them to decorate the bar when it’s finished.

Do fairy light corks fit on screw top bottles? He isn't an alcoholic, he's just collected limited edition ones for years!
