Touch up - do I need to repaint?

Spent ages decorating my son's room. It's a temporary job, moved into the house a year ago, he's about to turn 3 and still in our room. We'll be doing proper job in a few year's time with new lighting, woodwork, doors etc.

Used Dulux emulsion and had a lovely coating/colour. Took masking paper off and it took some of the paint off too. Also noticed some lighter patches so attempted to touch it up, same paint slightly smaller roller used.

Carpet is being laid on Weds and look at the state... completed it 3pm today and it's patchy as hell.

Do you think it will blend better overnight or do I need to find sometime to completely re-do? Will the darker patches remain under the new coat? I'm gutted as I've spent ages on it, and it was looking pretty good and now this!

Any advice welcomed!

It looks like it mightnt be completely dry yet - with luck once it dries it will all be the same colour.
