To change the bathroom

Our bathroom is 30 years old and is falling apart. We have a quote for £15000 to strip out the old bathroom. Paint, floor it and install new bath, loo sink and cabinets. The parts are about £8000 and the rest labour. It's sounding phew!

I’m sorry what is the question? Can you do it cheaper, possibly.

Ot does sound a lot, but your previous bathroom was in fir 30 years, so a good investment, I guess.

I've just spent £8k labour & materials & lights on a 6'x6' bathroom. Re-used loo, vanity unit & basin, and wall cupboard. Replaced shower cubicle and tray (£700). New tiles for three walls and floor (£800). Hippo bag for collection of debris (£185).

Ceiling and one wall yet to be painted. Need new towels etc (current ones are 15 years old).
