M&S sofas - which fabric for Kitchen/Living/Diner with dog

I’m looking to get a sofa for our new KLD but not sure which fabric cover to go for…things I’m considering are cooking smells, spill prone kids and a new puppy due to arrive in a couple of months. I don’t want leather….any recommendations? Not sure what aquaclean is?! Chenille? Natural fabrics? Help!

Pity you said not leather cos leather is the only thing I would consider. Totally wipeable. Even if you buy fabric with a coating to repel stains, any repeated wiping will wear it down over time and it will look shabby far quicker than leather will. Everyone I know who’s had leather then fabric has gone back to leather

I’ve got leather in livingroom at the moment and I just a bit sick of it to be honest! I quite like the look of that soft touch leather/suedey feel but I feel like that would just be a disaster for spills

Is there any way you could use your existing leather sofa in your kitchen/diner and treat yourself to new lounge fabric sofa which will get less day to day hammer than in a busy family room

I Wass coming on to say this. Downsize your leather suite and treat yourself to one you really love for living room where no dogs are allowed. Grown ups only!

This is a brilliant idea but they are too large to fit the space :(
