Will these wardrobes work?

I've just moved into a new home and it is the first time I'll actually be able to decorate it!

I am currently looking at wardrobes and love these ones but can't decide whether they will go with my bed (which I already own). I like the fact they are different shades of green but am finding it difficult to visualise whether it would work. How could I decorate the rest of my bedroom to bring it together?

I think that would be lovely. I'd go for a wall colour similar to the one in your pictures, and subtle patterned curtains and/or bedding bringing in some green and some other colours. Definitely have a couple of plants in the room too.

They are nice. The only thing i would keep in mind is, once you've bought your furniture, your colour scheme is then governed by it. So, if you buy green, you're going to need to stick with that scheme long term, or replace furniture, which can get expensive.

Personally I'd look to get either wood or white. Sounds boring, but, much easier to work with going forward. I think the same about any more expensive item. It means you can change the decor as often as you want, for much less money.

I'd also consider storage space, neither item looks massive or particularly sturdy. I'm a massive fan of 2nd hand furniture, which is often made from solod wood and much more sturdy. Try Facebook marketplace or your local auction.

I know it's really, really tempting to go out.and buy all new when you have the chance, but don't feel rushed, take your time and your style will develop.

Yep, wood, warm white, dove grey and charcoal
