Just looking for some advice on decorating ideas for a play room if theres anyone out there good with interior design!🙏
I'm going to crudely try to describe the room as it's a bit of funny shape... its kind of like a long rectangle with the right corner missing if that makes sense?
On the right wall there is a small window, a French door and a double window. Under both these windows are radiators. There are some plug sockets under the double window.
The previous owner was going to make the room into a granny flat. So the end of the room (which is a funny shape as previously mentioned) has a little glazed window in it where they would have put the bathroom.
On the left hand wall it is pretty blank apart from some plug sockets.
On the back wall is a fitted book case with spaces for storage boxes we would like to keep for toys.
There is grey flooring throughout which we won't be changing as it matches the rest of downstairs.
It's a big room and gets quite cold in winter.
As mentioned I would like to turn this space into a playroom but would also like to be able to go in there for entertaining and if someone in the family wanted to use it separately so a tv would also be a must.
At the moment we have two sofas in there and one blocks the end bit of the room so isn't very appealing for anyone to want to go into that bit. Need inspo on how to open up the room and use the space well 🩷
