Colour ideas please

I need some paint colours help! I need to redecorate my kitchen. I’m getting this light for Christmas, worktops are pale wood colour (pic 2). Cupboards will be painted and there are various pale pink accents in the room. So what colour would you do the walls and cupboards?
I like colour so no white or grey and already have blue quite a lot through the house so ideally not blue.

What aspect does the room have?

Sage green

I keep seeing a dark moody cross between pink and burgundy and I love it!

Sorry I should've said, room is dark and gets very little natural light. I'm liking the idea of a green

I have a fair bit of colour in my house: pink sofa, teal sofa, cream bits here and there, and we have skimming stone by f&b and strong white, also by farrow and ball

We have it throughout the house and it works regardless of the orientation

I know you said no blue, but something like Hague blue would work well with the colours you have.

Or, candy colours, like minty green, pale pink, peach, sky blue, lavender might look fun.

Or, a dirty olive would look amazing.

So, will it always be lit by artificial light, even in daytime?
