I need a greige lighter than Egyptian cotton

It's for our lounge which doesn't get much natural light so egyptian cotton can look quite dark. However I like the tones. I need a similar paint but slightly light, a beige that's not too creamy/magnolia/yellow. Any suggestions?

I like dulux heritage ash white. It’s soft and a bit stony, no yellowiness at all, but it’s also not really a grey - at least, there’s no bluey tones.

Chiltern white is similar but a bit darker. I found the pebble ones a bit too blue grey but nice.

Not sure if it's greige but we went with Valspar Navy Bean (which is a neutral colour, not navy as the name suggests) after considering Egyptian Cotton which was too dark for us too.

Skimming Stone is very similar to Egyptian Cotton but slightly lighter. Not by much but it made a difference in my dark room. DH who had to repaint the whole room can’t tell the difference 🫤 but I can 😋

We have 'natural hessian' easy care (washable) by dulux. Couldn't be happier with it.

Slaked lime is very pale and looks good in dark rooms! Much lighter than Egyptian cotton

What did you go with in the end and are you pleased with it?

Interested in what colour you went for. Having the same dilemma!

I have RAL 9002

I have a north facing lounge with Egyptian cotton.. I found summer linen to be a shade lighter but almost same. If I use it in south facing room it looks cream!
