Refill sofa cushions or new sofa?

I have two very nice large sofas and I love the look of them, plus they are comfy and supportive. They are about 6 or 7 years old. However, the feather filled back and side cushions are now very saggy.

In the interests of being green I looked into getting them refilled. The problem is there are 9 of them and they are large.

Basically it would cost about £1200 to get them filled with feather and foam, a tiny bit less for feather only.

They weren't crazy expensive sofas, and I can get a similar brand new one for about £1200 right now, so £2400 for two new ones.

So do I refill and maybe get another 5 years from them, or go new on interest free credit?

I'm torn because I do like my sofas, and I have had a few duds in the past that I ended up getting rid of after 5 years because they were awful!

Stick with the ones you have. You know they are comfortable, which isn’t always easy to find out in the showroom( speaking as someone who has discovered an uncomfortable seam in the arm of her nice new one). And you get the green glow of virtue.

If you found a sofa you really like that's comfy, keep it, especially if the fabric is still OK. If you go for foam wrapped feather, you should get more than 5 years out of it, they do keep their shape well.
