Ikea Hemnes range- bedside cabinet??

We’ve got the dresser in the spare room and need bedside cabinets.
The classic ones in the range are too wide; the narrow ones are the right size but I’m not sure I like them.
any suggestions for an alternative gratefully received?

The nightstands look a lot better painted - they’re real wood so just need a light sand and couple of coats of eggshell. Consider painting them the same colour as your walls, to make them blend in?

Change out the knob, our use some rub n buff to turn it gold. Ive also seen people strip the legs back to bare wood, which looks nice.

Im a real snob but think these are decent little nightstands.
