Battery / USB Lamp?

Has anyone found a nice battery or USB chargeable lamp? Alternatively is it possible to add a battery bulb to a standard lamp and remove the plug cable?

I’m looking for a lamp for my landing but new build planning has left a big open space to fill with no sockets…

A table lamp? They all tend to be on the smaller side. So haven't seen anything voluptuous to fill a larder space, but the ones from Mrs.Alice look nice and bigger than just a stick.

Otherwise, Pooky and OKA have some nice USB ones.

Pooky do some cute ones if that’s your style https://www.pooky.com/collections/rechargeable-table-lamps

These could be an option depending on how blingy your decor is https://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Fire-Dimmable-Rechargeable-Cordless/dp/B0BTPFG1J7

Or it might be easier to get a rechargeable bulb and just cut the cord off a lamp you like. Amazon sell the bulbs but I haven’t seen them anywhere else.

Pooky do nice ones, with a warm light - I like the brass/bronze finish ones especially. The Mouro is quite a cold light, although a rather good solid feel. I put mine on its side to reduce the 'searchlight' feel. The Bellhop sheds barely any light, and is pointless - actually, don't expect much in the way of light from any of them. They're more about eliminating dark in an awkward space, or outside, than actual task lighting. I also bought 2 extremely cheap ones from Temu, to place at either end of a dark mantel shelf in an inglenook fireplace with no other light source. They look quite pretty and more expensive than their price tag, but they don't last long (the Pooky is the longest lasting in my experience) - no more than a few hours.

As you can tell, I am underprovided on electrical sockets and ceiling lights, so have tried quite a few rechargeable lamps rather than pay an electrician to dig yet more holes in my walls!
