New rug for living room

I’m looking for a good quality rug for living room. Wood floors.

I don’t want something mega expensive as have 2 kids (9&10) so while not completely out of control can still end up with chocolate / tomato sauce etc finding it’s way off plates!

my place has mid century/contemporary furniture, so don’t want anything too traditional.

Can anyone recommend somewhere with lovely rugs that are value for money? ( rather than just cheap)

maybe around the £350 mark?

How about Ruggable? You can wash them

Thanks @AuntieDolly - do you have one? Would you recommend?

Have you looked at Benuta? Lots of choice and many of their rugs would fit a more minimalist / contemporary / Scandi vibe.

We got two kittens last year and I bought one of their indoor/outdoor dual-use rugs because I expected a lot of scratching and mess so wanted something easy to clean and cheap. I thought I'd change it for something more expensive once they'd grown up a bit, but I'm still very happy with it. It's the one below from the Taro range. It works quite well with my mid-century Saarinen tulip chairs. It's not super thick, but has held up incredibly well and is so easy to take care of.
