Advice on paint colours please

I'm looking to paint the walls to freshen up our kitchen/dining/family room. Happy to change lampshades and cushions. Currently painted Egyptian cotton (with a test patch of mizzle by the Aga). All suggestions welcome, to reduce the number of matchpots I need. Thanks

Neptune Flax Blue Eggshell to go with your rug, and it's just a lovely colour and quality paint that sticks wonderfully to cupboards and all kinds of wood and goes well with most ither colours.

Oh sorry, I thought you wanted to paint your actual kitchen, not walls. Maybe not blue walls. Setting Plaster maybe? Or a saffron yellow, like Babouche?

I think blue would be great for the walls. There's some blue in your rug. Something like Little Greene Sky Blue would look fresh.

Thanks for the suggestions. I might try sample of setting plaster..I've tried a couple of blues and they seemed too cold.

I know it's not what you asked but I'd paint the units blue too a pale blue though.

I agree with Setting Plaster, but would also suggest samples of something darker to try really leaning into the cosiness - suggest red earth and picture gallery red

I'm doing my kitchen wall a nice sage green. I'm on the hunt for the right shade that I have in my head, but it's a sage green that I'm after for warm, yet still fresh

I think a sage green would look nice and compliment to wood and the black work tops and maybe add some plants real or fake !!!x

We have a new build bungalow with open plan kitchen diner.
id love colour but think one colour throughout best,
sofa and dining chairs are rust.
chairs petrol blue
sofa faded rust!
kitchen units very pale grey
work surface grey marbled white -Carrera?
any suggestions please?
