Ruggable? And/or "easy clean" rugs?

I've fallen in love with this "Ruggable" design... I'm very tempted to buy because the design is so pretty, but reticent due to a few mixed reviews and the amount of money it involves for the size I want (a lot to part with if it's not going to look great long term - reviews mention curling at the edges). Just wondering whether anyone has a Ruggable rug? Would you recommend? And/or does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

I just got a Ruggable rug after humming and hawing over it for literally years. I'm really pleased with it! It doesn't curl at the corners/edges. I haven't washed it yet, but it will definitely fit in the washing machine. The only downside is that it's a bit of a pain to get it straight and wrinkle-free onto the backing pad. Once it's on it stays put though.

I have two in my kitchen and they are fabulous quality. They really do look like proper rugs, even close up.

This is sounding very positive, thanks all!

Next question... does anyone know whether they do black friday sales (I'll be very annoyed if I order now and then find out they do a hefty discount) 🤣

I ordered 2 rugs today with 20 percent off in Black Friday sale. Hope you haven't already ordered.

I bought one back in August and I’m really pleased with it. I looked at the Practi rugs but none of the designs jumped out at me.

I’ve washed it once when dd split milk on it- I was slightly worried but it came out good as new.

No curling on the edges either.

It can be tricky aligning the rug to the rug pad at first if it’s a larger size- DH and I actually had to take a break because we were sniping at each other so much 😂 I’ve got the knack now though!

Did you end up ordering the rug? I ordered the darker version of that rug today in BF sales. I'm hoping I love it was so hard to choose as I love all the William Morris designs

I have a runner in my kitchen and was so impressed (messy cook and a messy dog) that I bought a very large one for my new snug. Both are great

Thanks for all your input - I went ahead and ordered the William Morris Ivory Blackthorn rug in the Black Friday sale... Hoping I'll love it just as much in person!

Hi OP is the rug living up to your expectations?

Hi there! Yes, I really like it. I've had the rug for almost a year and it still looks new despite having survived accidental soot from the poker (we have a wood stove), potty training accidents and cat vomit. I haven't put it in the washing machine yet, opting just to spot clean with a non scratch sponge/cloth and soapy water, which works beautifully.

Can I ask if you got the regular flat rug or the tufted thicker version?

I bought the tufted thicker version, no regrets so far 😊

I thought the flatter version would seem too sparse and I think that I was probably right... my tufted rug is similar to standard carpet, so I guess the standard rug would be flatter, but this is speculation as I've not seen the standard in person!

I've seen the adverts for ruggable recently and love the look of them! I have hugrugs and they are fab, but more for doormats rather than rugs.
