I’m in the midst of decorating planning. Can anyone show me what F and B moles breath looks like with a dark floor please? Above the picture rail will be white and the ceiling white with white fitted wardrobes. I keep flipping between thinking its too dark and then liking it.
Also for my small lounge i’ve fell for NOMAD from coat paints which is a very dark olive green, again with a white above the picture rail and ceiling.
Do dark colours always make a room looks smaller- I’ve always played safe with F and B Cornforth White, but I’m trying to be more adventurous !

No, dark colours actually 'blur' the edges of a room and can make it seem bigger.

If you like the colours, go for it. It's ypur home.

@Seaside3 thank you. Im on my own , divorce pending and tbh not sure if the house is a long term option as the mortgage is eye watering. But I spend all my time at home and I take a lot of pleasure from having a nice place, so whilst I should be thinking ‘neutral’ in case I sell up, I want to enjoy it while I am here.

To be honest, the houses with colour are the most memorable ones on rightmove. The neutral boxes are forgettable. Plus, if some one loves your house, but not the colours, they can repaint. Sounds like you need some joy and to claim the space as your own. Best of luck.
