I have ordered a new dining table, and I’m looking for inspiration on how to decorate it.

Decorate it in what sense? Are you not going to use it to eat at several times daily?

What do you mean decorate it?

personalky id not habe a whole table service on it, looks ridiculous in real life and gets dusty.

I have a centre piece, which is a 3 foot long wooden dough bowl with foliage in, but past that napkins and those metal things you put hot pots on

I meant something like a centrepiece. I chose a table runner with a vase in the centre, and then two brass candlesticks either side.

Will you need to protect the table, as in a table protector and cloth?
Mine is glass, so I can get away with it.
