Joules Ilkley Sofa

I really like the look of this sofa but cannot find a DFS where I can try one to see what it's like.

Has anyone got one?

Or have you a Joules sofa and do you think they're good quality?

I have seen them some years ago in a store in London. I really like the Joules sofas.

Our Joules DFS sofa and chair has just gone back and I've had a refund. Originally delivered in March was faulty then had a replacement which was faulty too. I loved the fabric and the look of them but unfortunately the ones I had were really badly made. It was the Joules Ashwicke velvet sofa and fabric chair. I tried in store and it looked amazing.

This is on my shortlist for sofas to look at but I hadn’t realised they don’t stock them in every store. I’m going to the Leeds one soon so will let you know if I find one there.

I'm in Ireland so very limited to where I can see them. Tried Cork and Limerick (none and no staff available to ask) so will try Galway this weekend. No answer from any of their phones so I'm not filled with confidence re DFS either.

In one of the stores they had a Joules Patterdale for sale second hand from a customer, it still looked good and was comfortable. So I thought Joules might be good.

I have a perfect 26 year old Sofa Workshop sofa so may becoming with unrealistic expectations

We've had the dfs joules Patterdale recently delivered. Our 2 seater was in a terrible state on delivery day and the drivers ended up taking it back with them - the velvet was discoloured and had huge rivets in it. Dfs then 'lost' the returned sofa which has been a whole other saga! The larger sofa that was delivered is not great. On the 1st day all the staples underneath just fell out. We've re-stapled them ourselves as can't face dealing with dfs again. We're still waiting for the 2 seater to be delivered. It looks nice but the quality isn't great and we wouldn't recommend dfs at all.

If the frame of your sofa is in good condition then perhaps pay to have it reupholstered.
We have a 27 year old sofa that has just been reupholstered for a second time and the upholsterer commented on how good the sofa frame is.

Sorry op, I went to a closer store and they didn’t have it there either. Quite disappointed with DFS overall so will be buying elsewhere.
