I had ordered a ceiling mounted curtain track from Dunelm, but it’s gone out of stock and the next closest thing I can find is from John Lewis and is £250 more expensive. I need 3.6-4m wide.
I am completely clueless about this kind of thing and don’t want to make an expensive mistake.
I am putting curtains up on big bifolds, but with a budget of about £300 total. Bifolds are 3.2m wide and 2.2m high. I wanted them the full height of the room (2.7m) rather than from just above the door frame, and to sit to one side when open as a door curtain, rather than as window curtains sitting either side of the doors (partly because there is space to the right of the doors but not to the left).
I ordered pencil pleat curtains at 2.7m length, and will join them to make one single curtain (£160).
I had ordered this ceiling mounted track at 3.6m (£65), but it’s gone out of stock.
I now have curtains but nothing to hang them on. Help!
Can I just get that ubiquitous bendy plastic track that you can use in bay windows? Is there something else I should be googling? I can’t get just a regular curtain pole because it would have a bracket in the middle.
