We have a 1920s three (one box) bedroom semi in south London. Weighing up moving as we need more space, but everything feels at least £300k more than our property value. We have the space for a side extension, but before I get drawings, after some real examples of recent costs people have had for a two storey side extension (a picture would also be amazing!). I’ve heard people say it can be £400k (that’s madness) but £180/250k might feel worthwhile.
