But don't cost thousands of pounds?
Any ideas?

Try marketplace if you're wanting a bargain. I got mine (plastic, but originally v expensive) for £50.

Secondhand or reclamation yards for cast iron baths. I would recommend stone resin though, it's much warmer, lighter and softer, but looks better and is more scratch resistant than acrylic. The main brands are Lusso, BC Design and Victoria + Albert. The latter have the cheapest options, which some deals at around £1300. Inbuilt enamel baths are lovely and cheap as chips, though. You could give it an almost freestanding look by getting a joiner to panel it on 3 or even 4 sides and spruce up the panels with mouldings/paint or even use quartz/marble/granite.

Lots of cast iron baths used as field water troughs. Because they are cold. I would never have another cast iron bath.

Anything else is £££ so I agree second hand is the way to go.
