Looking for a warm white for a north facing sitting room. Any ideas?

I bought a huge tub of dulux heritage edelweiss to do my sitting room. Description said it was warm but having tested it out the light in the room makes it look grey!
not a complete disaster as I will use it in my south facing bedroom.
I have read that I should have gone for a yellow based white. I do NOT want creamy looking walls just not cold white ones.
Has anyone had success finding a paint that does the job?
thanks🙂

Another vote for Dulux timeless. Our house is quite dark in some rooms and it comes out a lovely creamy white, just like what I think you’re looking for. In some other rooms though it was grey. It just depends on the light so try a tester 😊

I bought a sample of timeless today. I. The evening, artificial light it almost disappears into the white wall. During the day it looks much more yellow. Weird.

My sitting room is very odd regarding what it does to paint colours. I have put several samples on different walls.
on the wall facing the large windows it manages to make every white turn a colour. It seems to pull out the undertone. The hints of pink look very pink/ peach, the hints of yellow very yellow and anything with a blue base looks like a dark shadow.
I would love to use a dulux heritage as they are amazing paints to work with but the whites just don’t work in this room. The don’t look white at all.
I think I will go with timeless. It pulls very yellow in here but is the most subtle and half the price .
my bedroom is now painted with the edelweiss white which went dark in here but gives off an ethereal shade in my south facing bedroom.

We’ve just painted our small north-facing dining room in Lime White by Farrow & Ball and I love it - it has a greeny/yellow undertone so warms the room up whilst still feeling spacious
